Research Online

Research Online is the University of Wollongong's open access institutional repository. On 14 November 2005 the University became the first higher education institution in Australia to adopt BePress's Digital Commons as its research repository solution. Research Online (ro.uow.edu.au) went live on 12 December 2005, with the first material loaded on 18 January 2006. Cf. Digital Commons - Australian User Group

Research Online Management Committee

This committee is responsible for monitoring the roll-out and implementation of Research Online. The committee comprises representation from central administration, academic staff, the Research Services Office and the University Library.
